Pentecost 2023 – Our Multicultural Celebration
Our parish community came together on Pentecost Sunday to celebrate the birth of the church. As Syro Malabar Bishop Tony Neelankavil said, “today’s eucharistic celebration just shows how catholic we truly are!” Come, Holy Spirit.
Apostolic Nuncio Visit – Archbishop Charles Balvo
A huge thank you to parishioners & schools/colleges for ensuring the Apostolic Nuncio’s (Archbishop Charles) visit to our Parish was a wonderful experience and a great blessing for all. We also thank Bishop Ken Howell (Auxiliary Bishop of Brisbane) and Fr. Stephen Bliss OFM and Fr. Jose Panampuzha CRI for celebrating Mass with Archbishop Charles.

The beautiful St Mary’s Church at Ipswich is perfectly situated across the road from parklands and a number of school campuses (St Mary’s Primary and St Mary’s College, as well as St Edmund’s) it still remains a central hub of faith.
